One of the most frequent requests heard in our Learning-Focused Strategies workshops is "I wish there were more examples and a deeper explanation of how this works".

In response to this appeal, and others, Learning-Focused has been updating what was once one Learning-Focused Notebook into what is now four different notebooks. Below is a diagram of the progression of the Learning-Focused Notebook:

Each Learning-Focused Strategies solution has a workshop notebook that provides detailed strategies, information, and resources. Implement all four in your school with the Learning-Focused Strategies Alliance package or the Reaching Balanced Achievement packages! The packages include Monitoring for Achievement to ensure school leaders are providing high support and accountability for the strategies being implemented consistently and pervasively school-wide and the packages also include Conferencing which allows teachers to interact one-on-one or in small groups with Learning-Focused Associates to ensure complete understanding based on their classroom situation and instructional style.
