Presidential Preferred Schools

After being honored as a Learning-Focused Preferred School, recipients are offered the opportunity to present themselves as candidates for Learning-Focused Presidential Preferred status. To reach the elite status of a Presidential Preferred School, schools submit documentation of exemplary performance in multiple areas including a decrease in teacher and student attrition, a drop in student discipline issues and a verifiable increase in student achievement in the classroom and on standardized assessments. Preferred Schools

Learning-Focused Preferred Schools are schools recognized only by Learning-Focused Associates. These schools are implementing Learning-Focused in exemplary ways. Whenever a Learning-Focused Associate observes a school implementing all or some of the solutions from Learning-Focused, we will recognize the school, district, administrator, and staff for their extraordinary efforts.
